Having returned from Sabaudia with the second consecutive full success which has further improved the ranking, Avimecc Volley Modica returns to the gym to prepare for the second consecutive away match assigned by the calendar of the A3 volleyball championship on the Montaggi Marcianise court valid for the seventh day of the first round.

After an adjustment phase, the blue and white group expertly led by coach Enzo Distefano and his staff, is slowly finding the right balance and is reaping the fruits of the hard work done in the gym in this first part of the season.

Analyzing the match in Sabaudia and projecting us into the next match in Marcianise is Salvo Nicastro, Enzo Distefano’s deputy who, like the rest of the staff he is part of and the athletes themselves, spares no effort to always try to get the best.

“The boys always work hard during training – explains Salvo Nicastro – and on Saturday in Sabaudia they were very good at dictating the pace of the game without ever lowering their concentration, aware that teams like Plus Volley can reverse the outcome at any moment of the match. They were all good – he continues – but a particular note of merit goes to Pedro Putini who played a great match allowing everyone to have good percentages of efficiency in attack, but I must say that everyone was ready. Saturday’s match in Sabaudia was a great team effort. On Sunday in Marcianise – he continues – yet another sporting battle awaits us because on the other side of the net we will find players fighting until the end. They have Alfieri, our former setter, on the roster and their spikers are of a good level. We will go and play our match – concludes the assistant coach of Avimecc Volley Modica – with the desire to continue to do well even if we know that it will not be absolutely easy”.
