Ninni De Nicolo, the new management figure of the Biancorossa Company, will cover the role of Director of the Technical Area of Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley.
The PalabancaSport press room inaugurated the first official moment of the red and white career of the manager originally from Terlizzi in the province of Bari. Ninni De Nicolo has gained significant and many years of experience with Volleyball Molfetta in the climb from the B1 series up to the A1 series and since 2018 he has held the position of Sporting Director in Vibo Valentia. For a year he worked at Itas Trentino as a talent scout, intercepting talents for one of the big names in Italian volleyball.
In Vibo Valentia last season he won the treble: A2 Italian Cup, A2 Super Cup and promotion to the SuperLega.

I must say right away that he is not going to replace anyone and there is no overlapping of roles, he is a new managerial figure, he will be the Director of the Technical Area, his task will be to set up a Technical Committee which will interface with the Board of Directors and in collaboration with the performance area to find the best solutions to achieve ambitious goals. Furthermore, he has the task of talent scout for the first team and the youth sector. We want to grow not only as a team but also as a club.”
For his part, the General Manager Hristo Zlatanov wanted to underline “the importance of a new presence in the Company given that the activities increase every year. Next year we will also play in Serie B with our youngsters, Ninni is an important figure who already helped me when our adventure in A2 began, I’ve always had long phone calls with him. In just a few years, our club has made great strides, every year we want to raise the bar even off the pitch”.
Alessandro Fei, Sporting Director of the Company, recalled that “when I started as a team manager in this Company, the first phone call I made was to Ninni, he was a great help to me. I am sure that it will be very productive to work in synergy and in a transversal way, his presence will be very precious for everyone”.
