The class of 2000 originally from Gorizia is back in red and white after two seasons. His first experience in the Marche had ended in the Play Off final, now in Macerata he finds a very renewed team, starting from the bench entrusted to coach Castellano. Mitja Pahor grew up in Gorizia in Polisportiva Olympia, between Serie D and Serie C, then he moved to Volley Eagles, in the Province of Padua, where he played in a Serie B championship. After leaving Macerata Pahor continued his career in Portomaggiore in A3, as an opponent of the red and white, then last year he wore the Agnelli Tipiesse Bergamo shirt in A2, where he reached the Play Off final.

“I am very happy with this opportunity to return to Macerata”, says Mitja Pahor, “I had a good experience at Volleyball Macerata, it was my first season among professionals and away from home. Now I’m back with a lot of desire and more experience”. Compared to the previous red and white adventure you will find the same ambitious context but also a very renewed team, “I know that the club is very professional and organized. It’s one of the reasons that convinced me to come back, I know the environment and it works well. As far as the team is concerned, I will have the pleasure of meeting Gabbanelli and Sanfilippo again, with whom I played two years ago, while some of the other players I met as opponents; in particular Lazzaretto, with whom I share the same role and I am convinced that during the season we will be able to help each other. I can’t wait to meet everyone.”
