The history of Cuneo men’s volleyball and that of Pizzeria Express are intertwined over time, always forging important collaborations. The Coccorullo family is once again a partner of Cuneo Volley and in their menu you can still find references to big names in our beloved sport. Throughout the second leg, the restaurant in c.so Nizza 11 will host the biancoblù for the pre-match lunches at home.

Our captain Iacopo Botto, and the director Matteo Pedron made an inspection by testing the oven and kitchen, also putting a little of their own into it!

« Our pizzeria as well as volleyball are important realities for this city, a point of reference, a certainty from which to return even after years. Our passion and dedication to our work has always distinguished us over the years and the same goes for this sport which is life for Cuneo. We are very happy to see athletes who return to wearing the white and blue jersey and new ones who decide to wear it for the first time and defend it” – these are the words of Sandro Coccorullo, owner and founder of the Pizzeria Express.

The history of Pizzeria Express began in 1986.
Sandro Coccorullo, a pizza maker from the town of Tramonti (SA), decides with his wife Anna to open a small take-away pizzeria in the central street of the city of Cuneo (in place of the La Testuggine art gallery). In 1987, the kitchen and the first tables were added to the small oven on the ground floor: the pizzeria also became a restaurant. Over time, the business grew, evolved and changed its face together with the city, becoming an institution for the people of Cuneo and a crossing point for the many tourists from the Province and beyond the Alps.

« What does not change over time is the passion and devotion that we put into our work every day, for you! ».
