The path of synergistic collaboration between clubs as a solution to be implemented to guarantee a future for volleyball itself. A concept clearly reaffirmed on Saturday 10 June last, when the agreement stipulated between Volleyball San Giustino (150 registered boys) and the Club Arezzo Volleyball Academy, a reality of 400, which starts from the youth teams at the Under 15 level, was presented at the Hotel Continentale in Arezzo and reaches up to the top formations, with the objectives of mutual growth and, on a strictly competitive level, a strengthening of the respective Serie A3 and Serie C teams and the creation of an Under 19 team capable of reaching the finals next year national. Not forgetting that some young people from Arezzo have already started training in San Giustino. In addition to the leaders of the two associations, representatives of public institutions were also present at the press conference: the mayor of San Giustino, Paolo Fratini; the councilor for sport, Andrea Guerrieri and his colleague from Arezzo, Federico Scapecchi. “To make the leap in quality – said Riccardo Lazzerelli, president of the Arezzo Club – we need to work on the youth sectors. Volleyball San Giustino is a reference model for what it has been able to do in a few years and through this agreement, by joining forces, we will be able to become one of the best national youth centers. The exchange will also be accompanied by an important economic support”. The managing director Claudio Bigi took the floor for the white-blue association (the president Elena Gragnoli was also there), explaining how Volleyball San Giustino is able to give prospects to its young people without making them leave home and how the Club Arezzo is the ideal company for perfect integration. Appreciation for the organization of the San Giustino Volleyball was expressed by Daniele Mattioli, manager of the Arezzo Club, underlining how its corporate structure is the best prerequisite for work aimed at mutual growth. The sporting director from San Giustinesi, Valdemaro Gustinelli, completed the first series of interventions highlighting the excellent work of the Arezzo Club and the excellent auspices with which the collaboration began, judging by the first sessions of the Under 15 group, plus the already ambitious finish line designed for the Under 19.
