WiMORE Parma has returned to training at the PalaRaschi in view of the first two matches in 2023, both within friendly walls: Sunday 8 at 6 pm the challenge at the Med Store Tunit Macerata, fourth in the class and in great shape, seven days later at 4 pm instead, it will be the turn of the Emilian derby with Geetit Bologna in what can be defined, to all intents and purposes, a direct clash in the medium-high floors. The last two comeback successes in the tie-break against Mirandola and, above all, at Garlasco’s house allowed coach Andrea Codeluppi’s team to close the calendar year in seventh place in the White Group of the Serie A3 Credem Banca national championship, a placement which, if confirmed at the end of the Regular Season, would be worth access to the Promotional Play Offs. It’s up to the WiMORE Parma team manager, Aldo Greci, to draw up a partial balance of the first part of the season and set goals for the future. “The year ended positively with the victory of Garlasco, the boys were down but they recovered well and showed character. Let’s say I’m happy with what they’re doing as well as our staff, little by little with hard work we try to maintain the position in the standings which was the position we were aiming for at the beginning of the season, or rather a quiet salvation. We had some bad luck during the first few months due to some injuries, we had to redesign the team up to the purchase of the new opposite Dimitrov who is fitting well into the squad and, along the way, we hope we can find a game of team that allows you to have continuity and maintain your position in the standings”.
