The sports solidarity auction “Together we can spike for love” continues online on the “CharityStars” platform and promoted by the Italian Volleyball Federation in collaboration with Athletica Vaticana. After the first two lots were put online, other objects are now available to enthusiasts including balls, game shirts and iconic pieces signed by sports champions.

The proceeds from the auction will be made available to the Santa Marta Pediatric Dispensary Foundation – which assists families in difficult situations in the Vatican, guaranteeing free specialist medical visits and donating products for children – and the “C’è da fare ETS” Association ” committed to raising funds to finance projects to support young people in acute psychological and psychiatric distress.

The third lot includes the blue shirts of Simone Anzani and Alessandro Michieletto, the club shirts of volleyball players Bruno De Rezende and Yuki Ishikawa and the Itas Trentino Volley shirt signed by the entire team. This lot also includes the club shirts of the volleyball champions Cristina Chirichella, Joanna Wolosz and that of the Italian national team signed by Loveth Omoruyi.

Not only volleyball but also many other iconic memorabilia such as the commemorative baton of the Budapast 2023 World Athletics Championships, signed by the vice world champions: Lorenzo Patta, Marcel Jacobs, Roberto Rigali and Filippo Tortu. Present at the auction (with their autographed objects) are the judoka Odette Giuffrida, the cyclist Peter Sagan and the jersey autographed by the riders of the “Eolo Kometa Cycling” cycling team. For collectors enthusiasts there is also a reproduction of the postcard with philatelic cancellation on the day of issue of the stamp autographed by the women’s national team at Eurovolley 2023.
