Martin Atanasov is a new player for MINT Vero Volley Monza. The Bulgarian spiker, fresh from his experience with Galatasaray, brings a wealth of international experience, completing the Monza roster for the 2025/2026 season.

Born in Sofia in 1996, Atanasov began his professional career with Dobrudzha Dobrich, the club with which he won the 2015/2016 Bulgarian championship, also winning the individual MVP and best spiker awards of the tournament. In 2016, he embarked on his first experience abroad, moving to Turkey with Tokat Belediye Plevnespor. He then continued his career in Germany, playing with VfB Friedrichshafen and, later, in France with Chaumont VB.

“I’m very happy to join an ambitious club like Vero Volley and to begin this new adventure in a competitive league like the Italian one,” Atanasov said. “I can’t wait to meet all my new teammates and meet our fans at the gym.”
