Just over ninety-six hours after their last test in Gioia del Colle, the EnergyTime Spike Devils Campobasso team returns to the court—on the second Wednesday of October, with the first serve scheduled for 7:00 PM.
The Rossoblù, led by coach Giuseppe Bua, will play another early championship match—the Blue Group of the Serie A3 Credem Banca men’s volleyball team—on the court of Pontine side Sabaudia (the two teams will meet again for the final first leg of the season on December 21st, with the match taking place in Vinchiaturo). This will be their fourth preseason outing (the fifth actual match).
“We must continue to grow,” the Rossoblù coach explained on the eve of the match, “and for this reason, playing is essential. This is a period of learning, useful for fine-tuning the mechanisms. We should also have Morelli back in the six-plus-one group, and therefore it will be an opportunity to further consolidate our game. The serving aspect, in particular, will be crucial. At PalaCapurso we did score several aces, but we also made too many errors, especially on unforced serves.”
