Daniele Mazzone will continue to wear the Cisterna Volley jersey, becoming one of the players with the most appearances in the club’s history. The Piedmontese middle blocker, born in 1992, was also part of the Pontine club’s historic first year in the Credem Banca Superleague, now three seasons ago, becoming over time one of the most representative elements of Cisterna Volley.

The next one will be his thirteenth consecutive season in the top division of the Italian championship, a milestone that confirms his status as a veteran in our championship. With Cisterna, Mazzone will play his second longest cycle after the one in Modena, where he played for five seasons, also winning an Italian Super Cup in 2018.

With his 209 cm of height and a career as a protagonist in Italian arenas, Mazzone represents a technical and human point of reference for the group led by coach Morato. After being a point of reference in the last two years, with 42 games played, the Cisterna Volley central is ready to reach new goals, after having reached the milestone of 1500 points in Superleague last season.
