“The first steps are starting to show, and the results are already starting to show.” Antonio Polimeni, coach of Domotek Volley Reggio Calabria, is optimistic about the test match against Modica, highlighting the team’s progress in this preparatory phase.
“I definitely saw a different pace, a better pace than in previous tests,” the coach begins. “We’ve overcome the most difficult phase of preparation, so we’re on the right track. The first steps are starting to show on the court, even though there are many adjustments, having changed the setter.”

Polimeni doesn’t hide his enthusiasm for the addition of Davide Saitta: “‘Saio’s’ technical prowess is immense, so the results are already showing very early.” But he keeps his feet on the ground: “These are friendlies; we know the championship is a different story. We’ll have to deal with a different psychological component and environmental factors, as was the case against Galatone in the first round of the championship.”
