Sviluppo Sud Catania continues to strengthen its roster ahead of the 2025/26 Serie A2 season and announces the signing of Andrea Gasparini, a highly experienced and talented spiker.
Born in 1996 and originally from Como, Gasparini boasts a long career at the highest levels of national and international volleyball, including appearances in the Superleague and several European championships. A complete athlete with a strong personality, he brings not only technique and power in attack, but also leadership and the ability to make the difference in key moments of the match.
“I can’t wait to begin this new adventure. When I received the call to come to Catania, I didn’t think twice. It’s a serious club with a major and ambitious project, in a beautiful city. I’m very happy to embark on this new journey. Catania is a city with a great volleyball history, and I hope it will demonstrate the passion it has for the game, which I’ve also seen in these years when we’ve played against each other.”
