Giombini and Terni are ready

September 1st is the day chosen by the Terni Volley Academy coaching staff to begin preparations for the upcoming Credem Banca A3 Series championship, Blue Group, which kicks off on October 26th in Sabaudia against Plus Volleyball. Champion volleyball coach Leondino Giombini (who certainly needs no introduction) has a young and competitive roster at his disposal and eight weeks to get the players into peak form and confidence for the championship opener, with the invaluable assistance of assistant coach Domingo Bassetti. “I’m very happy with the team we’ve built with Francesco Biribanti (Vice President and General Manager). We have a youthful spirit, not just in terms of age, but also in terms of approach and desire to succeed. All the players we’ve brought in,” Giombini continues, “have significant experience and are eager to prove themselves, and I enjoy working with young people.”
