Jacopo Tosti will continue his growth path at Cisterna Volley, adding a new important chapter to a career that, last season, saw him as a protagonist both in the national team – between the Under 17 and Under 18 selections – and in the Credem Banca Superleague. The Roman middle blocker born in 2008 has signed a four-year contract with the Pontine team. At just sixteen years old, Tosti’s career has already marked important stages, with his debut in the Superleague in the 5th place Playoffs against Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina, becoming the youngest debutant in the history of Cisterna Volley in the Superleague, in the broader perspective of a path of talent enhancement developed in synergy with Marino Pallavolo. His season then continued with the Under 19 and Under 20 groups, culminating with the fourth national place achieved with the Under 19 trained by coach Francesco Ronsini. “It will certainly be a very demanding year,” says Tosti. “I don’t have any specific goals, but I want to always give my best in the gym, day after day. I’m very happy to be able to work with coach Daniele Morato. I don’t know him personally yet, but I know of his important list of achievements and of his work in the youth sectors: this gives me great confidence and I can’t wait to get started.”
