Leandro Mosca will wear the MINT Vero Volley Monza jersey next season too. For the talented middle blocker born in 2000, it will be his second season in SuperLega Credem Banca in Monza, but his first as a leading actor, after the shoulder injury that forced him to miss the entire last season.
Born in Recanati, but raised in Osimo, Mosca began playing in Libertas. His three-year experience at Club Italia was important, where he joined in the 2016-17 season, tasting the A2 championship before moving to Peimar Calci in the 2019/2020 season. His debut in the SuperLega took place in the 2020/2021 season, with the Powervolley Milano jersey, with which he also won a Challenge Cup. In the following year, he moved to WithU Verona, after winning the World Championship in Poland in the summer with the Italy jersey: two seasons with the Scaligeri that definitively consecrated him as one of the most promising young Italian talents.
“I am very happy to stay in Monza next season – Mosca’s words – last year I did not have the opportunity to play due to injury: I want to show the fans, the club and my teammates that I can give my contribution. I expect a season of revenge on a personal level, and for the team a year of restart, because we want to show that last year was only a transition; we can bother everyone, and we will prove it on the field”.
