In three and a half weeks, the Cuneo Club, newly promoted to the Superleague, has announced several players from the roster available to coach Battocchio for the next season, inserting players in almost all roles, all except one; today Cuneo Volley unlocks the opposite department. Lorenzo Sala arrives in white and blue.
A return to the top Italian category for Lorenzo, born in 2002 who at just 18 years old made his debut in Modena, then increased his appearances on the field with the yellow and blues in the 21/22 and 22/23 seasons and then in Taranto. Last season the adventure in A2 in Palmi and now Cuneo.
« I chose Cuneo because it has always been an important place, where volleyball is lived a lot, not only in the gym, but also in the city. The beautiful and healthy ambition that is perceived has positively impressed me and everyone has told me about a good environment.» – these are the first reasons that pushed Lorenzo to be a new player of Cuneo Volley.
What kind of season do you expect?
« I expect a tough season, being newly promoted we will have to work hard right from the start, because no one will give us anything and we will have to give our best always, from the beginning to the end of the season ».
