Cucine Lube Civitanova’s third week of athletic training is progressing quickly. The halved squad for the upcoming World Cup doesn’t stop head coach Giampaolo Medei and assistant coach Francesco Oleni from setting a fast pace in the technical sessions on the Eurosuole Forum pitch. They performed impressively with the support of assistants Enrico Massaccesi and Matteo Zamponi. Good performances on the athletic front thanks to the planning of trainer Massimo Merazzi.
A new addition to the red and white team, Oleni has quickly settled into the staff and is enjoying his experience in the Marche region in one breath, already proving himself in the preseason to be an ideal asset for the athletes’ growth, thanks to his constant and meticulous analysis of their progress in fundamentals with the help of scoutman Alessandro Zarroli.
Francesco Oleni (assistant coach, Cucine Lube Civitanova):
“Despite the reduced number of players, we’ve held a fair number of technical sessions, and the results are positive. We’re obviously a work in progress, a kind of laboratory that brings together young players with different backgrounds and stages in their technical career development. We also support them individually; their commitment to achieving their goals and meeting the staff’s expectations is commendable.
