Born in Belvedere Marittimo, Calabria, a two-meter-tall middle blocker with two promotions from Serie A2 to the Superleague (one with New Mater and one with Taranto) and two Coppa Italia A2 titles, Luca Presta completes the Domotek Volley middle blocker lineup for the 2025-2026 Serie A3 Credem Banca season. Born in Belvedere Marittimo in Calabria in 1995, Presta will bring experience and quality to the Amaranto team in a radically changed sector.
Last season, the Belvedere Marittimo native wore the Pineto jersey in Serie 1, and two years ago he played for WOW Green House Aversa. He also had significant stints with BCC Castellana Grotte (A2) and Tonno Callipo Vibo Valentia, where he played for six seasons – at senior level – between 2013 and 2019, between the Superleague and Serie A2. With the Calabrian side Presta, he won the A2 Italian Cup twice (2015 and 2016). He continued his stints in the second division with Mondovì and Prima Taranto (winning the championship in 2021), a club that preceded his moves to Castellana – where he had already won the playoffs in 2017 – and then, most recently, to Aversa.
