The U21 men’s national volleyball team is ready to compete in the 2026 European Championship Qualifying Tournament, starting tomorrow, Friday, July 11, and running through Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the Palasport in Cisterna di Latina. Coach Vincenzo Fanizza has selected the 14 players who will wear the Italian national team, aiming to secure a spot in the continental tournament. Among them is Stefano Cappadona, a 2005-born setter from BCC Tecbus Castellana Grotte, a product of the Puglia Youth Volleyball Academy of Materdominivolley.it.
“Cappadona’s call-up to the U21 national team,” commented President Michele Miccolis, “is further great news for the entire Castellana men’s volleyball family. We have always believed in young people, and every call-up is a source of pride and satisfaction for a project that now has deep roots. Next season, nearly half of the A3 series roster will again be made up of players who have trained in the Gialloblù youth sector.”
