A new talent has joined the Plus Volleyball Sabaudia project, a Pontine team competing in the Serie A3 men’s volleyball championship. Setter Gabriele Mariani, born in 2005, is officially a member of the team coached by Stefano Beltrame. The Pisan playmaker arrives in Sabaudia with the enthusiasm of his 20s and the confidence of someone who has already gained significant experience in national championships, having played with Monza (in the Superleague) from 2022 to 2024, before moving to Omi Fer Palmi (in Serie A2).

“I’m very happy to join this new team, especially because the expectations for next season are high, and we need to live up to them as much as possible with hard work in the gym and good teamwork,” explains Mariani, winner of the 2023 Junior League with Vero Volley Monza. “I’m young, 20 years old, but I’m also confident in my abilities. Above all, I’m always looking for new rewards and I’m eager to grow both technically and tactically. Why did I choose Sabaudia? Plus Volleyball impressed me with the project they presented to me; I had a good impression of both the club and the coaches.”
