An established professional and a point of reference for the rossoblù team, Dr. Michele Pezzulla is a prominent name in the Taranto healthcare landscape. A neurologist and head physician at the Villa Verde facility, he has a long experience in the field of sports medicine. In the early years of his career, in fact, he dedicated himself to competitive fitness visits, closely following numerous athletes and champions and building a transversal expertise that he now puts at the service of Prisma Taranto.
Having joined the medical team four years ago, Pezzulla immediately established a solid and profitable relationship with staff and athletes, following the team group during home games. His added value? In addition to his clinical skills, a deep knowledge of volleyball, a sport he has practiced at a national level. A past as a volleyball player that today allows him to interface in a targeted way with the players, also analyzing the neurological dynamics connected to technical gestures and training loads.
