Mirandola won all sets in the joint training session with Acqui Terme. Players and coaches were satisfied.

The first set was easy for the yellow-blues: Bicego deployed Spagnol and Sitti on the main diagonal, Galliani and Maletti on the wings, Antonaci and Grue at center, and Catellani as libero. Totire responded with Argenta, Bellanova, Esposito, Guastamacchia, Petras, Botto, and Trombin. Stadium closed the match 25-13.

Only one substitution among the fourteen players in the second set: Bicego tried Scaglioni for Grue. The yellow-blues closed the match ahead again: a burst of pride from Petras closed the gap, but was unable to do more. 25-19 for Mirandola.

The introduction of Flemma and Rustichelli kept the team’s strengths largely unchanged: Petras retired and was replaced by Carpita. Storchi and Schincaglia also came on midway through the set with a double substitution. Totire also began to change his lineup, but the final mandatory set also ended in favor of the yellow-blues, 25-22.

For the final set of the match, the youngsters remained on the court: Storchi, Schincaglia, Grue, Scaglioni, and Rustichelli, supported by Flemma and Maletti, were the last lineup fielded by Mirandola. The nineteen-year-olds from the Modena school performed well at blocking and serving. The match ended 25-20, once again in favor of the home team.
