Modena Volley’s preparations for the 2025/26 season continue unabated. Athletic trainer Oscar Berti took stock of the Gialloblù situation: “I found the group to be in good shape. We’ve worked hard in these first few weeks with the SuperLega players and Nicolò Zanni’s Serie B youth team, aiming to regain our rhythm and aerobic capacity. I’m very satisfied. Now we’re preparing for the next phase of preparation, which will involve intensive and physically demanding work in the gym and weight room. While I wait to meet some of the players, I expect an aggressive and physically responsive team. We’ll need to be good at working hard in the gym, aiming to improve both our collective and individual performances. Perry? He’s a very explosive athlete; strength and speed are his key characteristics. He fit right in with the group, he’s cheerful, and he’s learning a lot, including the Italian language. Italy? They’re a talented team, enthusiastic, and they get along well together. They’re always hungry to achieve important goals and want to work hard every day.
