Two more official announcements at Aurispa Links per la Vita are starting to shape the roster for the 2025/26 season. The last two announcements, in chronological order, are those of the spiker Simone Orto and the middle blocker Daniele Mellano.

Orto, born in 2004 (189 cm tall), comes from Saturnia Acicastello of Serie A2. The athlete, originally from Catania, followed the entire youth system with the team of his city and climbed the categories from Serie D to B, first with Roomy and then with Callipo in the libero role. The 2022/23 season coincides with the big leap to A2 in Ravenna, and then the following year he played in A3 with Belluno. The transition to the spikers department came in 2024, when he triumphed in the Junior League with Ravenna, before returning to Catania where he played his last season of A2.

These are his first words: “I chose Aurispa Lecce because from the first contact I perceived great clarity in the objectives and a strong belief in the technical project. The company immediately seemed well-structured and with clear ideas, both in terms of the roster and future ambitions. Furthermore, I received only positive feedback both on the seriousness of the corporate environment and on the quality of life here in Puglia, and this certainly influenced my choice.”
