After a Sunday off, the fourth day of Pool D of the Men’s Under-21 Volleyball World Championship took place today in China: the two Modena Volley players participating, Italian Pardo Mati and Frenchman Amir Tizi-Oualou, were the stars.

The Azzurri defeated Tunisia 3-0, with Mati scoring twelve points (eight in attack, one block, and three serving), while the French won 3-1 against Ukraine thanks to Tizi-Oualou’s ten points (five in attack, two blocking, and three serving).

Tomorrow, at 2:00 PM, action resumes for Italy-Argentina and France-Indonesia, the fifth round of Pool D. The Azzurri currently lead the way with 12 points (four matches, as many wins) and the French are second with nine (three wins and one loss, against Italy).
