Born in 1987, Barone has shown his true value over the course of the last season, bringing experience, solidity and leadership to the field. After three years in Porto Viro, the Calabrian centre arrived in Reggio last summer, immediately becoming a point of reference for the group and the technical staff.
His words: “I am really happy to stay in Reggio. My family and I have believed in this project from the very beginning, and being able to continue to represent these colors is a source of great pride. I thank the club and the staff for their trust, which I will try to repay with commitment and seriousness, on and off the field. After last season, the desire for revenge is strong. Furthermore, living in Reggio with my family has strengthened the bond with this territory, and this has made the choice to stay even more natural. My goal is always the same: to give everything to win, every time we step onto the field. This is the mentality that I bring with me and that I hope to pass on to my younger teammates. We want to be protagonists in a competitive championship like Serie A3, and why not, try to get some satisfaction in the Coppa Italia too.
