President Ruggiero, May 18, 2025, a date that has entered the history of Romeo Sorrento:
After almost 70 years of corporate history, we thought we had already written indelible chapters by first building a B series and then a historic A3 series. This triplete with two prestigious national trophies and a promotion to A2 all achieved in less than three months are HISTORY! I thank once again the managers/volunteers who worked hard, the technical staff who humbly built this dream and the players who were always able to leave behind the successes that came to build a bigger one until that May 18, 2025 which represents a milestone for all sports in Sorrento and its surroundings.
Unfortunately, this month, things happened immediately that made our path to continue to live the dream of great volleyball in the Sorrento peninsula uphill and we hope to be able to recover quickly by transferring to those who govern the country today how important sport is for the social fabric of the city and to make our fellow citizens experience pure emotions.
Now the first season in Serie A2 awaits us, what kind of championship will it be?
Serie A2 is estimated to be one of the ten most technically prestigious championships in the world. It will be a very tough, demanding championship that will see us catapulted into the world of large and renowned realities, many of which are already experienced in the category or in many cases with experience in the Super League.
