The Del Monte® Junior League Semifinals pairings have been defined: today the Group Stage of the event organized by Lega Pallavolo Serie A ended, featuring the best youth sectors of the Serie A clubs, who are participating with their respective Under 20 teams in the three days of volleyball in Bologna, the venue for the second year running.

This morning, as mentioned, the first verdicts arrived: at the Palazzetto dello Sport in Ozzano dell’Emilia Negrini CTE Acqui Terme beat Kioene Padova in three sets, with the Piedmontese team playing the 5th Place Final against Romeo Sorrento.

At 11:00, however, Itas Trentino secured a place in the Semifinal by beating Cisterna Volley 3-0, which thus ends in 9th Place. In the challenge between Mint Vero Volley Monza and Cucine Lube Civitanova, which took place at the same time, the Brianza team won in three sets, earning the pass to the Semifinal, on a par with Consar Ravenna and Valsa Group Modena, who were already certain of their place after yesterday’s results.

This afternoon, space for the Finals for 5th and 7th Place and, from 7:30 pm, teams on the field for the Semifinals, which will allow us to know the names of the two teams that tomorrow, Monday 2 June, from 4:00 pm, will take to the field to win the 32nd edition of the Del Monte® Junior League, with the Palazzetto dello Sport in Ozzano serving as the theater for the Final act of the event.

LA FORMULA – DEL MONTE® JUNIOR LEAGUE
Al termine della fase a gironi verrà stilata un’unica classifica (secondo il criterio della classifica avulsa) che delineerà la fase finale: le prime 4 formazioni avanzeranno alle Semifinali, la quinta e la sesta “spareggeranno” per il 5° e 6° Posto finale, e allo stesso modo la settima e l’ottava giocheranno per il 7°e 8° posto. L’ultima classifica del Girone termina invece la Junior League classificandosi al 9° posto.
