The EnergyTime Spike Devils Campobasso team is gradually taking shape in view of what will be the second consecutive season of the rossoblù in the Serie A3 Credem Banca.

The ninth piece of the mosaic, who will be integrated on the front of the central department, is the nineteen-year-old Umbrian Diego Bartolini, a third-placed Spoleto player who grew up in the Perugia youth system and last season in Acicastello in A2.

A 198-centimeter player, Bartolini speaks of himself as “a physical central” who has as his favorite fundamental “that of the wall”.

“I arrive in Campobasso really enthusiastic about this opportunity – he recognizes – and I am ready to bring all my determination to give my all for the cause. Knowing that I have a coach like Bua who, in his volleyball career was a middle blocker, gave me even more strength in my decision also because many of my former teammates in the last season who had him as a trainer in Catania spoke well of him and all this feedback represented a factor that influenced and gave strength at the same time to my choice».

Another incentive, moreover, is that linked to the rossoblù faithful public. «Knowing that you have so many fans close to the cause and ready to support you in every match, especially those at home, is a significant factor and will certainly have its weight in our path, because the support gives you determination, personally and as a team».
