The Men’s Under-21 Volleyball World Championship continues unabated in China. Another day of victories for Italy’s Pardo Mati and France’s Amir Tizi-Oualou, who defeated Argentina and Indonesia, respectively, with a 3-0 victory.
Mati scored ten points, including eight in attack, one blocking, and one serving. Tizi-Oualou was bye, making way for his teammate Kleynjans.
With Pool D concluded with the Azzurri in first place with 15 points (five wins in five matches) and the French in second with 12 (four wins and one loss), the competition’s round of 16 matches begin tomorrow: France vs. Kazakhstan at 5:00 a.m. Italian time, followed by Italy vs. South Korea at 2:00 p.m.
