The stage couldn’t have been more challenging: the Pala Bigi in Reggio Emilia, home of league leaders Conad, in a big match won in a tiebreaker by Belluno Volley. It was there, in one of the most captivating settings in the Serie A3 Credem Banca, that Leonardo Michielon made his senior volleyball debut. Born in 2006, originally from Padua, the white-and-blue opposite hitter tasted the Taraflex of the third national division for the first time. And he did so with the confidence of someone who knows the future is knocking on the door.
POSITIVE TENSION – A debut full of emotion, as he himself explains: “When I stepped onto the court, I felt a mix of adrenaline, pride, and a bit of positive tension. It’s a moment I’ve dreamed of for a long time, and actually experiencing it leaves me speechless.” Simple, sincere words from a young man who knows the journey he’s taken so far. And he knows who to thank: “My first thought goes to my family, who have always supported me, in the easy times and especially in the more difficult ones. Without them, I wouldn’t have gotten this far.”
