Another new face for Mario Di Pietro’s Tinet Prata. The presence of athletes from Friuli Venezia Giulia in the yellow-blue team is further increasing with the arrival of David Umek from Trieste, a 197 cm spiker from Trieste, born in 1998. Upon his arrival in Prata he will meet a couple of former teammates. First of all, captain Nicolò Katalan with whom he shared the Sloga shirt in his hometown at the beginning of his career. And then Jernej Terpin, his teammate in A2 in Bergamo. In that year, 2020-2021, the two won the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa. Retracing Umek’s career, in addition to his debuts with the Trieste jerseys of Coselli and Sloga, we follow a path that led him to play 7 seasons between A2 and A3 with the jerseys of Alessano, Modica, Bergamo, Parella Torino, San Donà and Ancona, putting together almost 200 matches played and almost 2000 points scored.
