A new addition to the coaching staff of Alva Inox 2 Emme Service Porto Viro, who has appointed Yhairo Costa, a professional formerly of their “cousins” Volley Lions Clodia, as athletic trainer. Born in 1999 in Piove di Sacco (Padua), Costa takes over from Giacomo Trevisan, whose collaboration with the Polesine team officially ended a few hours ago.
“First of all, I want to thank the club for their trust in me and for giving me this great opportunity,” Costa introduced himself. “Being Delta’s new coach is an incredible honor, which, given the level of the men’s Serie A2, also comes with considerable responsibility. However, I’m enthusiastic and confident, because the environment is very family-friendly and proactive. I immediately felt like I was joining an ambitious club with clear goals. As for working with the players, I will set goals that are tailored to the current stage of the championship. My focus will be, first and foremost, injury prevention and, subsequently, building a lasting physical foundation.”
