Allianz Milano will play the second leg of the Volleyball Challenge Cup quarterfinals against Norwid Częstochowa (Steam Hemarpol Politechnika Częstochowa), featuring Luciano De Cecco, Indra, and Ebadipour, former players in the match. The series is still open, although the Milanese team only needs two sets to secure their place in the next round and avoid the golden set, which would only be played with a 3-0 or 3-1 Polish victory. The team that advances to the next round will face the winner of the semifinal between Romania’s Scm Zalau and Turkey’s Altekma Sk Izmir. This match will also be played tomorrow evening. The Turks, with two recent acquaintances in the Italian championship, such as the American former Rana Verona Jordan Matthew EWERT (spiker) and the former Monza and Taranto Ibrahim LAWANI (opposite) start with a slight advantage after the 3-2 obtained in Romania.
