Some arrive in Padua, while others have always been there. Francesco Bergamasco, a striker born in 2005, grew up in the Juventus youth academy and has been part of the Padova family since the Under-14s. This year, he will be playing his second year in the first team, a milestone that comes after a period of quiet work in the youth ranks and which today feels like well-deserved recognition.
Last season allowed him to discover what it really means to play in the SuperLega, with more intense training, a new pace, and a level of focus he was just experiencing in his youth. “It was an incredible season, especially because I truly understood what it means to play at this level. You immediately realize how important it is to pay attention to everything, to every detail, both in training and in matches. I learned a lot from my more experienced teammates, but also from the difficult moments we faced as a team. It’s an experience that I carry with me and will always carry with me.”
