Cucine Lube Civitanova has signed Francesco Bisotto until 2029. The Piedmontese libero, fresh off his birthday, has just signed his second contract extension with Lube since his arrival in 2023/24. Hired at the time to strengthen the second line, the 2002-born player has shown gradual and consistent growth. “Biso” was ready, even taking center stage as a starter in crucial matches, such as the entire 2024/25 Scudetto semifinal series, when Fabio Balaso was out with a fracture.
At Lube, Bisotto won the 5th Place Playoffs in 2024 and the Del Monte® Coppa Italia in 2025, the same year he also reached the Challenge Cup Final. Furthermore, in the last two seasons, the red-and-white libero contributed to the Champions League qualifications, reaching the Scudetto Final with the team from the Marche region in both 2025 and 2026. This further contract renewal is a clear sign of the value the Club places on him.
Francesco Bisotto (Libero, Cucine Lube Civitanova):
“I thank everyone for their trust. I’m very satisfied because I’m working hard to become a key figure for Lube, and the foundations are right. My personal progress in my first three years here has focused on developing my character and my ability to handle pressure. I’ve had a learning experience, taking some important steps. Above all, my starting series against Sir in the 2024/25 season playoffs, but also this year’s appearances as a spiker in the Scudetto Final. It was the big matches that made me realize my abilities. I want to perfect my reception so I can take control of the team when my opponents are serving.”
