Delta Volley Porto Viro’s fifth player has been confirmed on the Serie A2 roster. Giacomo Brondolo has renewed his contract with the Polesine club and is preparing for a new challenge in his second season in black and fuchsia: the transition from outside hitter to spiker. For the 193-centimeter-tall, 2005-born player from Modena, this represents a return to his roots, having begun his volleyball career in the position of four.
His career began in the youth teams of his hometown team, Modena Volley, where he captained a national Under-19 bronze medal and a sixth-place finish in the Junior League. He also played in three Serie B championships between 2021 and 2024. Previously, in 2020/21, he spent time with Villa d’Oro in Serie C; then, in 2024/25, he moved to Stadium Mirandola in Serie B, culminating in promotion to Serie A3.
