After the historic treble and promotion, Domotek is preparing to face the challenging Serie A2 championship with humility, but with the knowledge of the resources at its disposal. “The beautiful location of Coco Beach. We’re here again. It seems like yesterday, it seems like yesterday with the entire arena ablaze for the completion of a historic treble.” Thus Cesare Pellegrino, sporting director of Domotek Volley, began his remarks during the presentation of the new season, still visibly moved by the recent successes.
He was referring to the magical night when 7,000 people packed the stands of PalaCalafiore to celebrate promotion to Serie A2, an event the city of Reggio Calabria had missed for 38 years. This feat brought a perfect circle to the city, following victories in the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa.
