From opponent to future star. After three seasons as an opponent for three different clubs (Motta di Livenza, Belluno, and Cagliari), Abano Terme center-back Michele Luisetto, born in 1996, will wear the colors of Negrini CTE Acqui Terme.
“We played against each other many times,” the center-back begins, “and actually, I lost most of them. They were all pretty good, tight matches. I’m happy because the coach and the president seem very motivated.”
The path that led him to Acqui began in the province of Padua, his hometown. “I started in Valsugana, in Padua, with coach Mario Di Pietro, who then coached Prata this year and achieved promotion to the SuperLega,” says Luisetto, retracing the formative stages of his career. From there I moved to Porto Viro, where we won promotion from Serie B to Serie A3. Then to Motta, where we won Serie A3 with promotion to Serie A2, followed by a year in Serie A2. Then Brescia returned to Serie A2 for a few months, Macerata to Serie A3, Motta again, then Belluno, and this last year in Cagliari.
