Domotek Reggio Calabria continues to reap the rewards of a historic season. After a resounding hat-trick of titles (three out of three available), the team was welcomed to the Calabria Region Citadel in Germaneto by Councilor Eulalia Micheli. It was an institutional moment to celebrate a year that will go down in the annals of Calabrian volleyball.
Representing the entire team was captain Domenico Laganà, who received the tributes from the political community and expressed words of great pride and self-confidence.
“First of all, it’s an honor to be guests here at the Citadel,” Laganà began. “For us, it’s been a challenging, intense season, but certainly full of sporting satisfaction. Winning three out of three available titles is a source of great pride for the city, for the region, but also for our personal careers and the sacrifices we make every day.”
Now, as is only right, a well-deserved break arrives. “We’ll have a rest period,” the captain confirmed, “and then we’ll begin the preparation phase, probably in July, following the instructions of our coaches.”
