There’s a feeling of great satisfaction at Domotek Volley. Sporting Director Cesare Pellegrino, interviewed after the latest positive run of matches, draws a very positive conclusion to the first half of the season.

“It’s definitely a positive moment; we’re in a significant phase of development,” begins Pellegrino, a former star of Italian and Reggio Emilia volleyball. “This past month, we’ve finally expressed our game almost at its peak. We’ve played important matches, from the Coppa Italia at home against Campobasso to the away match against Castellana for the top spot, where we played a commanding performance. We deserve this place in the standings.”

The Sports Director emphasizes the necessary work: “By changing setter and having four new middle blockers compared to last year, it took us the right amount of time to improve. We’re clearly improving.”

A recent interview in “TuttoSport” brought Reggio and Domotek to the national spotlight. “We’re happy that the national press is giving us coverage. It was a pleasant surprise,” comments Pellegrino. “We’re interested not just in the results, but in the entire context: the fans, Reggio’s volleyball tradition, and a club that works hard every day.”
