Allianz Milano played its part to the very end in Belgrade in the first round of the Challenge round of 16 against Red Star Belgrade. At the Voždovac Sports Center, President Lucio Fusaro’s team authoritatively led the first and third sets, fought to the end in the second, the most closely contested set, and took home the entire set in about seventy minutes. Now, in the return match at the Allianz Cloud, scheduled for January 27th at 8:30 PM, a two-set win will be enough to advance to the next round. Captain Ferre Reggers was in the spotlight, finishing with 20 points, while the other two high-ball attackers, Ichino and Recine, also performed well, with 11 points each. Among the key players, Milan’s blocking stood out, with nine key shots proving decisive. This victory bears a special dedication: Nemanja Masulovic, a regular in Belgrade, became a father for the second time today.
