Modena approaching Game 1

This afternoon, Modena Volley spiker Luca Porro spoke ahead of Game 1 of the fifth-place playoff final, scheduled for Friday, May 1st at 6:00 PM at the BTS Arena against Itas Trentino: “Little has changed compared to previous matches; we always have to play our best volleyball. It’s clear that Game 1 must be approached with the right intensity right from the start, especially in a difficult arena and against a strong team like Trento. I’m sure we’ll go into the away game focused from the start to do well. I don’t know if the pace has slowed: it’s normal for the team to feel the pinch after being eliminated from the playoffs and having faced such hard-fought matches. However, we did well to immediately regain control of training and matches, so I don’t think there will be any problems in this regard. Trento is a very strong team; they are the reigning Italian champions. Before Michieletto’s injury, they were first in the league, and Lavia’s return is a huge asset for them.
