Domotek Volley has achieved its goal: after a legendary season, promotion to Serie A2 has arrived. Visibly moved, sporting director Cesare Pellegrino shared his emotions in an interview, describing this day as a true “return to the future.”
“Beautiful, beautiful,” Pellegrino began, catching his breath after the jubilation. “It was a historic day that took me back a few years. We finally achieved our goal. This year, we’ve truly achieved them all, so we’re super happy, super satisfied.”
The sporting director was full of praise for the team, emphasizing the opponent’s difficulty. “The boys did a fantastic job in a really tough match, because Belluno is a very, very strong team. The boys played well, and Antonio Polimeni (the coach, ed.) prepared this game very well this week.” He then concluded: “We’re thrilled about everything that’s happened this year, but this is a testament to everything the boys have done. It’s all well-deserved. They want to roar, to emerge, to fight, to return to their greatness.”
