Having abandoned the playoff race, it’s time for Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza to dedicate itself fully to the double-header of the 2026 CEV Cup final. Robertlandy Simon and his teammates, having reached the final stage of the draw, will now face German team Luneburg in the double-header of the final that will decide the trophy.

At 7:00 PM tomorrow, Wednesday, April 15, the red and whites will take on the hosts at the LKH Arena in Luneburg, Germany, who finished their regular season in first place and are preparing for Game 2 of the semifinals of their playoffs.

Lüneburg will be led by a veteran of Italian volleyball: Stefan Hubner, a German who played on the Italian courts in the first decade of the 2000s, with stints in Loreto, Montichiari, Trento, Treviso, and Perugia (with a Super Cup with Treviso and a Challenge Cup with Perugia under his belt). None of the players on the German team’s roster have played in Italy.

The first leg will be broadcast live on DAZN, free with registration, and Sky Sport Arena.
