Sandro Passaro is the new head coach of the CUS Cagliari first volleyball team, which is preparing for a new adventure in the Credem Banca Men’s Serie A3 championship.
Born in 1981 in Ludwigsburg, Germany, the coach arrives at “Sa Duchessa” after a successful career in Serie A2 and Serie A3, both as a player and a coach. Last season, he coached JV Gioia del Colle in Serie A3.
Currently the Coach of the Morocco Men’s National Team, he is preparing for the Africa Cup of Nations, scheduled for September.
These are the first words of the new CUS Cagliari coach: “I am very happy to join one of the most stable clubs in Serie A3. With the Sporting Director, Roberto Meriggioli, we immediately reached an agreement. I sensed great respect for me, and now it’s up to me to repay this trust through my work and relationships. We started working immediately on a roster full of very interesting and motivating young players.”
