Another confirmation on the Cuneo Volley roster, announcing the continuation of Alexandre Strehlau as a spiker for the white-and-blue SuperLega in the 2026•2027 championship.

Having arrived in Cuneo at the end of December 2025 from the French club “Tours,” the talented French center forward has earned the trust and confirmed him for next season, where he will undoubtedly have the opportunity to further emerge and hone his skills on the court.

Sports Director Paolo Brugiafreddo commented on Alexandre’s confirmation: “We are pleased to renew our commitment to Alex, especially because, to be honest, his commitment to us was partial, having arrived mid-season, and between the adaptation period and the end of the season, we didn’t have much of a chance to see him perform at 100% due to some physical issues. However, we had the opportunity to admire his full potential during the training week and we believe he can truly be an added asset to our team next season.” He will certainly have the opportunity to carve out significant opportunities to continue his growth and technical refinement. We believe that, from a character perspective, he has integrated well in this final stretch of the season and that he can immediately establish a very constructive relationship with the rest of the team for next season. I repeat, we are very confident that he can complete his technical growth to the point of being absolutely decisive in the SuperLega as well.

Alexandre himself has stated his high ambitions for next season: “I believe Cuneo and its environment are the right place to grow in a positive environment. I’m certain that with a few less physical ailments, I would have been able to be more confident in certain areas. It was certainly a new environment for me and adaptation takes time, so I know I can do better. My goal for next season is to have greater stability and, why not, try to reach the top of the scoring charts.”

With this in mind, we can’t wait to see him back in the gym working on next season! In the meantime, we hope he returns to the French national team for a summer with “Les Blues”.
