The play-off series got off to a rough start for Conad Pala Terni Volley Academy, who took a resounding 3-0 victory against Savigliano. The Dragons held onto the match in the first set and early in the second, where they managed to take a four-point lead. Then, the usual power outage extinguished the green-and-red’s play. The home team managed to find good consistency, with coach Camardese’s players barely reading the play. In the third set, Conad Pala Terni Volley Academy practically gave up, handing Game 1 to Savigliano. The performance was subdued by all the Umbrian players, who committed fouls in every fundamental, allowing the opposing defense to have an easy game and open the door for attack. Inaccuracies and poor concentration did the rest. The Dragons are already working to get the series back on track, and Savigliano will be at the Pala Terni for Game 2 on March 29th at 6:00 PM.
