There are places where sport is much more than a competition. It’s identity, belonging, and memory. In Grottazzolina, volleyball represents all of this: a story begun 55 years ago by six pioneers, grown thanks to the sacrifice of generations of managers, coaches, athletes, and volunteers, to become a benchmark on the national scene today.
For this reason, the ceremony (open to the public) scheduled for Saturday, July 18th, at 11:00 a.m., in the council chamber of Grottazzolina Town Hall, will be more than just an institutional event. It will tell the story of a journey spanning more than half a century, in which past and future ideally meet on the same court.
