The final phase of the Del Monte® Junior League began today, which in the 2025 edition stops in Bologna for the second consecutive year. From today to Monday 2, in fact, the best youth sectors of the Serie A clubs will clash on the fields of Ozzano Dell’Emilia and San Lazzaro di Savena to win the trophy. Valsa Group Modena and Consar Ravenna have already reached the Semifinal thanks to 2 victories; everything is still open in the rest of the groups.

The final phase of the Del Monte® Junior League 2025 opened with the victories of Romeo Sorrento against Cucine Lube Civitanova (3-0) and of Valsa Group Modena over Negrini CTE Acqui Terme (3-1). Subsequently, Consar Ravenna won in 3 sets over Cisterna Volley; worth mentioning is the stubborn comeback of the Romagnoli in the first set, with the Pontini ahead 24-20 who suffered the comeback until 24-24 and gave way on the final 27-29.

The afternoon of the first day also proceeds with a series of “three-point” victories, with Mint Vero Volley Monza victorious in their debut 3-0 against Romeo Sorrento, while in the meantime, in Ozzano dell’Emilia, Valsa Group Modena ensured passage to the next round by also winning the second challenge and again by 3-1, against Kioene Padova, in its first match of the day.

The program was closed by the challenge between Itas Trentino and Consar Ravenna (rematch of last season’s Final): great approach by Itas in the competition, which wins the first set, but then suffers the comeback of Consar who makes its voice heard and conquers 3 points that are worth the Semi-Finals.

LA FORMULA – DEL MONTE® JUNIOR LEAGUE
Al termine della fase a gironi verrà stilata un’unica classifica (secondo il criterio della classifica avulsa) che delineerà la fase finale: le prime 4 formazioni avanzeranno alle Semifinali, la quinta e la sesta “spareggeranno” per il 5° e 6° Posto finale, e allo stesso modo la settima e l’ottava giocheranno per il 7°e 8° posto. L’ultima classifica del Girone termina invece la Junior League classificandosi al 9° posto.
